I took from your post the invitation to like the word ruminate. For so long I have seen this word as a symptom of depression and an express failing, to dwell too long.

Regarding the video: the jack-o'-lantern's fire draws first attention, but as is so often the case it is the periphery that creates a whole story — the cards and mail from the outside world, the art work in every corner, two pairs of warm gloves revealing the weather, and a great expanse of glass giving a glimpse of the nighttime world outside and a reflected view of the world within … with the pumpkin's flame. And a videographer.
